Catalog description
This course is an introduction to both the theory and practice of regression analysis. Topics include simple and multiple linear regression, linear models with qualitative variables, inferences about model parameters, regression diagnostics, variable selection, and the regression approach to analysis of variance (ANOVA). Prerequisite: MATH 3311 with a grade of C or higher, or consent of the instructor.
