This course focuses on planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and strategies designed to facilitate cognitive and content learning among children from diverse populations; addresses essential concepts, inquiry tools, and structure of content areas including academic subjects, e.g., language arts, science, social studies, and mathematics; and addresses professional ethical issues regarding the education profession. Prerequisite: Admission to the graduate program.
