This required course is designed to provide a framework for effective professional development of literacy among teachers, thus allowing them to serve as models for their own students. To this end, the course will allow teachers to examine their own literacy through exploration of research on best practice. MAT students only. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Graduate School. Offered Fall, Spring, Summer.
