Catalog description

A required course for the Linguistics major (TESOL Track) and the TESOL minor. Course addresses the modern methods of instruction in English for second and foreign language education. Materials, planning, and classroom techniques are emphasized. Course goals will be accomplished through the use of lecture, discussion, written assignments, and field experiences. Prerequisite: LING 2320, or admission to teacher education, or minimum of 60 credits hours completed, or consent of department chair.
