Catalog description

A required course for the Linguistics major and one of two courses to satisfy the Linguistics minor core requirement. This course introduces students to phonological analysis, including the basics of phonetics and the skills needed to analyze phonological data. Discussion, lecture, workshop. Prerequisites: LING 2320, LING 2350, and at least 3 hours of upper-division LING or WLAN coursework; or permission of instructor.
