Catalog description
A required course for print journalism majors and an elective course for other journalism majors and minors. Continued development of reporting skills through the study of specialized beats, including city, county, and state government. Involves study of the organization and functions of state and local government. Students should be available for off-campus assignments. Lecture/Production. Prerequisite: JOUR 2300.
