Catalog description
This course is required for the Entrepreneurship major and an elective in the Finance major. The mode of instruction is lecture and discussion. The course emphasizes the differences between large corporations and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME's). Topics include techniques for estimating financial resource requirements and sources of funds for small businesses in the development, startup, and survival stages of the SME's life cycle. Other topics include venture growth capital and exit strategies. Prerequisites: FINA 3330 and MKTG 3376 or consent of instructor.
