Catalog description

This is a required course for finance majors and an elective for BA and BS economics majors. Coverage includes a survey of monetary theory and the study of banking institutions, financial intermediaries, financial markets, and the influence of government regulation. The mode of instruction is lecture and discussion. Prerequisites: ECON 2320 and 2321.
