Catalog description

This course explores the basic principles of behavior and the steps required to conduct a functional behavioral assessment. Development of individualized positive behavioral support plans (including Behavior Intervention Plans) for individual students with disabilities is reviewed and practiced. Course includes field experience. This course is required for programs MSE Special Education, MAT Special Education, Graduate Certificate Special Education K-12, Special Education Resource Endorsement.
