Catalog description

A required course for the international trade concentration and an elective for economics majors. Instructional mode includes both lecture and discussion. The course will cover trade theory and policy, foreign exchange systems and markets, the macroeconomic implications of the balance of payments, motivation for trade, gains from trade, and the emergence and impact of free trade zones. Prerequisites: ECON 2320 and 2321.
