Catalog description

This course serves as an elective in the following programs: the BS and BA Economics majors, the BBA Economics major, the Logistics & Supply Chain Management major, and the Economics minor. This course will teach students to use economic tools of analysis to understand, analyze, and evaluate the transportation industry. In the study of this industry, students will focus on the difference between regulated and unregulated outcomes; the pricing and quality variations within the industry; and how economics provides insight into how to manage congestion. Prerequisite: ECON 1310 or ECON 2321
