Catalog description

Required. Introductory study of the auditory process and its role in communication. Special consideration is given to anatomy and physiology of the ear, etiology and management of auditory disorders, physics of sound, and measurement of hearing loss. Lecture, discussion, and laboratory practice in the audiological suite. Prerequisite: CSD 3311. [UD UCA Core: R]
