Catalog description

An elective course that introduces machine learning and its applications. Topics include pattern recognition, computational learning theory, classification and clustering algorithms, data visualization, neural networks, and deep learning with big data. Applications in areas such as Computer Vision and Biomedical/Bioinformatics are emphasized. Prerequisite: CSCI 3330.
