Catalog description

This course introduces the composition of modern computers from both hardware and software perspectives. The hardware focus primarily relates to the personal computer (PC) platform. The software focus builds from operating system familiarization in Windows and Linux through an introduction to programming concepts via the Python programming language while emphasizing structured program design. CISA 3300 is intended as preparation for the follow-on study of any high-level programming language.
