A course primarily for health science majors. This course introduces basic concepts of bacteriology, virology, immunology, pathogenic microbiology, and food microbiology. Lecture and laboratory. This course cannot be used to fulfill the Biology major requirements. Prerequisite: (BIOL 1400, 1401, 1402, 1410, or 1440) with a C grade or higher. Fall, spring, summer. [ACTS index number BIOL2004]
