Catalog description
The course covers the fundamental principles of accounting for business entities: analyzing transactions, recording accounting information, and preparing financial reports for use by investors and creditors. The course provides an overview of accounting for specific assets, liabilities, and stockholders' equity. Prerequisites: MATH 1390 (or a higher-level mathematics course) and either sophomore status or recommendation of advisor/instructor. [ACTS: ACCT2003]
