Theory Credit 1 Manipulative Laboratory 6 This course is designed to provide the student with the practices and procedures of welding carbon pipe using the gas tungsten arc weld (GTAW) process. Emphasis is placed on pipe positions, filer metal selection, purging gasses, joint geometry, and joint preparation and fit-up.
