Theory Credit 2 Experimental Laboratory Credit 3 This course introduces magnetic particle principles of electromagnetism, terminology, and applications of magnetic particle inspections to give the students a basic understanding of inducing magnetic fields, flaw detection, and interpretation. In addition, this course covers developing proper magnetic particle inspection techniques, quality control checks, interpretation, and reporting of indications.
