Theory Credit 2 Experimental Laboratory Credit 4 This course covers techniques involved when grouping related machines for the purpose of completing a series of manufacturing processes in a flexible manufacturing cell. The student will be involved with the computerized integration of programmable control systems such as robotics, machine tools, and other peripheral equipment to emulate real-world manufacturing concepts employed in flexible manufacturing cells.
