Study of the twentieth-century Civil Rights Movement in the context of the broader history of "race" relations and civil rights in American history. This is an 8-week course including a required trip during Fall Break to places of significance during the Civil Rights Era. This course may be used to satisfy the Social Science and History General Education Requirements. (Fee: $600)
