Catalog description

Students participate in research projects under the direction of a faculty member. The projects could be experimental or computational depending on the instructor's expertise. Students will learn fundamentals of the methodology, collect data in the lab or by running programs, then analyze results, and present their findings. Prerequisite: PHYS-3110 Intermediate Physics Laboratory. Pre- or corequisite: 3000- or 4000-level Physics course (3 credit hours). (Fee: $150)
