Catalog description

Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) in the second year of the professional curriculum is designed to provide opportunities for students to practice technical pharmacy skills in institutional settings and learn about pharmacy management as well as clinical and distributive functions. Students will demonstrate core practice skills: communication, calculations, ethics, medication safety, managing resources, wellness, health promotion, technology, informatics and critical thinking. Prerequisite: P2 standing or approval of instructor.
