Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the logic and appropriate use of statistical techniques most frequently reported in the research literature of the health professions, including common parametric and nonparametric statistics. Students will learn the logic and meaning of statistical concepts, understand the underlying assumptions and appropriate utilization of common statistical techniques to answer practice questions, interpret results from statistical analysis, determine clinical and statistical significance and grow in statistical reasoning skills. (Fee: $50)
