Catalog description

This course prepares nurse educators to develop effective teaching and learning strategies. Use of theoretical and evidence-based educational techniques, assessment of learners, and implementation of various instructional techniques for classroom, clinical, simulation/lab, and online instruction are emphasized. Strategies for promoting critical judgment and clinical decision-making, including the use of technology and simulation are included. Prerequisite: NSG-6400 Foundations of Nursing Education (Fee: $50)
