Catalog description
Second in a three-course series that prepares students for the transition to practicing PA by covering a wide range of current and trending clinical practice and public health topics, with an emphasis on providing evidence-based care. You will develop skills important to professional practice through participation in seminars, workshops, small group activities, and oral presentations. Throughout the series, you will build a Professional Portfolio that demonstrates your education, training, and scholarly activity. Prerequisites: Acceptance into the PA program. Successful completion of preceding courses in PA program.
