Intro to Entrepreneurship

This course introduces students to the opportunities and challenges associated with the creation and management of startups and small businesses. Students will learn about the Lean Startup framework, which allows founders to test, advance, and improve business ideas, while meeting important milestones. The course also provides an overview of small business concepts, including topics such as: how to recognize business opportunities, types and characteristics of entrepreneurship, the business life cycle, entrepreneurial economics, the components of the business model canvas and how they relate to strategy, product and service research development, and the use of technology. The course also covers what it means to be a faith driven entrepreneur and the correlation to biblical stewardship.
