Introduction to computer programming and the numerical methods for solving roots of equations, simultaneous linear algebraic equations, ordinary differential equations, integration, introduction to finite-difference approximations, and least-square curve fits. Pre- or Corequisite: MATH-2740 Differential Equations (required); MATH-2705 Calculus IIIA (recommended).
