Catalog description

This course focuses on construction engineering issues associated with the implementation of designed civil systems. The aim is to provide the student with an understanding of the range of construction equipment and techniques in common use, as well as the planning and direction of construction work. Addresses projects of various scales, focusing on common factors such as utilization of workers, machines and materials, and requirements for project organization and control. The material covers both construction techniques, construction management, and project documentation. Corequisite: EGCE-2320 Principles of Surveying
