An introduction to the principles of child and adolescent development, learning theories, and the principles and processes that affect teaching and learning. The class focuses on learning theory and the skills necessary to create and maintain an optimal learning environment in a diversity of settings. Pre- or co-requisite: EDUC-1000 The Education Profession; or with permission of instructor.
