Catalog description

Study and implementation of individual assessment and teaching strategies for skill development in reading; analysis of common learning difficulties and intervention methods; analysis of cultural, family and environmental factors influencing reading; and development of individualized and small group plans for remediation of specific skill deficits. Prerequisite: EDEC-2300 Phonics and Literacy Development. For Special Education majors. Corequisites: Other courses in the Methods 1 block. (Fee: $25)
