Catalog description

An introduction to the instructional strategies and resources for teaching, assessing, and supporting the language arts development at the middle school level based on NCTE, InTASC and Ohio's learning standards for English/language arts. Teacher candidates will implement ELA strategies, technology, and 21st century skills to meet the needs of all students in a middle school field experience. Prerequisite: admission to the teacher education program. Corequisite: other courses in the M.C. Methods II block. (Fee: $55)
