Catalog description

An introduction to the objectives, skills, instructional strategies, teaching aids, resource materials, and assessment techniques for teaching literacy (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to the primary (P-5) student. An associated clinical experience provides theory-driven application. Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Program. Corequisites: Other courses in the Primary (P-5) Methods I block.
