Catalog description

An introductory course in Inorganic chemistry to describe periodic trends, bonding, symmetry, transition metal complexes, acid-base chemistry, redox chemistry, representative main group chemistry, and solid state structures. Lab will emphasize common synthesis techniques and characterization of inorganic compounds. Prerequisite: CHEM-2210 Analytical Chemistry I. (Fee: $150)
