Catalog description
A survey of the phyla of the plant kindom and autotrophic prokaryotes and protists. Laboratory experiences will focus upon field botany, plant communities, and opportunities to investigate plant processes. Special emphasis will be upon the growth and development and the anatomy and physiology of flowering plants. Three lectures and one 3-hr laboratory per week. Prerequisite: BIO-1115 Biology I: Cell Biology. (Fee: $100)
