Catalog description
In this course students will expand and refine existing hand-building and/or wheel-throwing techniques. In addition to developing a deeper and broader set of technical skills, students will develop their ideas and learn to articulate them through clay. Students will demonstrate comfort and proficiency in the operation of the ceramics studio equipment and in the physical processes of building, glazing and firing clay. Prerequisite: ART-2140 Ceramics Foundations; ART-2230 Three-Dimensional Design. (Fee: $175)
