Spanish Golden Age Literature

Catalog description

Through close reading and discussion of representative texts, we will study different examples of Spanish and Latin American writing from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque periods. We will stress connections between Spain and Latin America, as well as cultural and literary topics of special relevance for contemporary Hispanic cultures. Counts as a CAS Global & Cultural Diversity course. Prereq: SPAN 320 .
