Catalog description

Upon completion of this required medical physics laboratory, students will achieve mastery in recognizing anatomical structures in detail in examination of imaging scans. Students are asked to manually contour the structures shown in a comprehensive list of anatomical human organs. The goal is to refrain from auto contouring. The brain study has MRI physical properties like T1 and T2 to help with contouring. A final portfolio and examination are required. Prereq: Graduate Student standing.
