A study of the fundamentals of radiation protection for external and internal radiation sources that are encountered in the clinical practice of medical physics. Observational and experiential studies of the radiation oncology, imaging, and nuclear medicine facilities, and the safety/shielding issues. Prereq: Graduate Student standing.
