Catalog description

This is the fundamental nuclear physics underpinnings of the therapeutics area in medical physics. This provides the students with the fundamental principles of nuclear radiation physics and dosimetry. Course topics include radioactivity, x-ray production, radiation interactions with matter, and radiation detection and measurement. Prereq: Graduate Student standing.
