Senior Physics Project Seminar

Catalog description

This two-semester seminar is taken concurrently with the student's two-semester senior project. Students meet weekly to discuss their projects and the research experience. The class will include dialogues about professional issues such as ethics, graduate school, jobs, funding, professional organizations, public obligations, writing and speaking. Assignments include proposals, progress reports and posters. This is a 1-credit course per semester (2 credits in total). In order to satisfy the UGER Capstone requirements, students are required to take either PHYS 351 or PHYS 353 concurrently with PHYS 352 . Counts as a SAGES Senior Capstone course. Coreq: PHYS 351 or PHYS 353 .
