Catalog description
The goal of this course is to provide all MS students in the Department of Pharmacology with the opportunity to gain practical experience analyzing scientific literature, providing peer feedback, and effectively communicating through writing scientific information. The course will begin with two required introductory sessions for all MS students. This will be followed by a series of presentations on primary research articles from members in the Department of Pharmacology. For each presentation, all MS students are required to complete a peer feedback form. Additionally, at the start of the semester, MS students will select one primary research article from a list provided by the instructor which they will analyze throughout the semester. This analysis will serve as the longitudinal project for MS students registered for this course. Prereq: Enrolled in the MS in Translational Pharmaceutical Science program.
