Physiology Colloquium: Channels and Protein is a graduate level course designed to provide an understanding of channels and proteins. As such, this course will prepare students for future study in advanced biomedical, physiological, and health-based sciences. The course will be offered in the fall semester of each academic year. Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to, proteostasis, neurotransmitter gated-ion channels, pathogenic membrane proteins, protein-protein interactions, proteomics, protein misfolding, synaptic transmission, GABAergic receptors, glutamatergic receptors and protein trafficking.
