Physiology Colloquium: Cardiovascular is a graduate level course designed to provide an understanding of cardiovascular physiology. As such, the course will prepare students for future study in advanced biomedical, physiological, and health-based sciences. The course will be offered in the summer of each academic year. Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to, cardiovascular disease, ischemia/reperfusion injury, vascular development and angiogenesis, cardiac hypertrophy, regulation of contractility, and cardiac mutations.
