Catalog description
This seminar will address therapeutic modalities as applied to families across the lifespan. Brief, individual, and group modalities will be studied in the context of Family Systems Theory focusing on differences in family constellations and developmental stages. The selection of modalities for families will consider the implications of cultural and gender differences, vulnerable populations, and the stigma of psychiatric illness. Prereq: NURS 430 and NURS 481 and NURS 482 .
