Advanced Psychiatric Assessment and Diagnosis Across the Lifespan II: Adults and Older Adults

Catalog description

This course will focus on the assessment and diagnosis of psychopathology in adults and older adults. Behavioral and cognitive deviations from normal growth and development will be evaluated while considering socio-cultural differences and age-appropriate behavior. Responses of family members in relation to adults or older adults' diverse presentations of pathology, risk for harm, and substance use will be discussed. Prereq: NURS 473 .
