Catalog description

This course will introduce students to ethical issues in nursing and healthcare. Fundamental ethical theories and decision-making frameworks will be applied to ethical dilemmas common to modern health care in a morally pluralistic society. Students will examine the role of ethics in professional nursing practice. Counts as a Moral & Ethical Reasoning course. Coreq: NURS 315 and NURS 316 .
