Catalog description

This course will explore the theoretical and evidence bases for best practices in nursing. Theoretical underpinnings of nursing practice and nursing science, research design and methods, evidence-based practice, and the process of evaluation of the evidence supporting practice will be discussed. Additionally, the course will introduce students to quality improvement and implementation science to integrate evidence into practice. Counts as a Disciplinary Communication course. Prereq: STAT 201 or PSCL 282 or ANTH 319 .
