BLS and First Aid for Healthcare Providers

Catalog description

This course is designed for nursing students and follows the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course objectives. The course will address life-threatening emergencies, skills to provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Heartsaver First Aid training is also included in this course. Counts as a Half-Semester Wellness/Non-movement course.
