Catalog description
This course will build upon the foundational principles introduced in NUAN 458 , expanding into the application of anesthesia principles across specific patient populations. Emphasis will be placed on anesthetic considerations for diverse age groups, patients with altered health states, and those undergoing common surgical procedures. Students will refine their ability to develop comprehensive anesthetic plans, including multimodal pain management techniques and apply perioperative decision-making strategies. Prereq: NUAN 458 .
