Catalog description

This course develops the communication skills necessary for success in professional business environments. Students will learn to structure clear, persuasive, and audience-centered messages across written, oral, and digital channels. Emphasis is placed on listening as a foundation for communication, logical thinking as a precursor to logical writing, and structured communication frameworks such as Barbara Minto's Pyramid Principle. Students will also practice adapting communication for diverse audiences, using data visualizations effectively, and delivering professional presentations with impact.
